October Meeting: Behavior Driven Development

Join TEKsystems and us on Tuesday, October 22nd, at 6:00 PM in the Redwood Conference Room of the Microsoft Charlotte Office. Behavior Driven Development (BDD) is an Agile software development process. It encourages continuous example-based communication between developers, BA, QA, and non-technical or business participants in a software project. In this talk, Kurt will share his experiences and lessons learned while leading a development team modernizing a legacy academic tuition assistance application for the Air Force.

The meeting presenter is Kurt Dowswell.

Kurt Dowswell is a Senior Software Developer working for BAM Technologies, where he leads a team providing software solutions to the Air Force. Kurt graduated with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from James Madison University in 2010. He enjoys working on Scalable Code Architecture, Behavior Driven Development Testing, User Experience, and User Interface Design.
